Ingredients:
- 13 x 9 Casserole Dish (must be 3 quarts or larger)
- 2 boxes of Graham Crackers
- (2) 8 oz. tubes of Cool Whip
- 2 boxes of White Chocolate or Cheesecake Instant Pudding (prepared)
- Red Food Coloring
- Blue Food Coloring
- 2 containers of White Icing
- Patriotic Sprinkles
Step-by-Step Directions:
Prepare your pudding according to the package directions.

Repeat this process once more, and finish with a final layer of graham crackers on top.
Add blue food coloring to each tub of icing. About 5 drops, and stir until well combined.
Place the tubs of frosting into the microwave for 1 minute.
Pour one and a half tubs of icing over the final layer of graham crackers and smooth out evenly. You can discard the unused frosting.
Cover the top layer with sprinkles and place in the freezer.
For best results, freeze for at least four hours or overnight.
Serve frozen, and enjoy! Perfect for those hot summer days.
There you have it! An easy layered 4th of July dessert that makes the perfect dish to serve at your next holiday neighborhood barbecue or summer party.
No Bake Icebox Cake Recipe FAQs
Can I make this ahead of time?
Yes, this dessert can be made ahead of time. Simply cover with plastic wrap and store it in the freezer until you are ready to serve.
Can I use a different type of pudding?
Yes, you can also use vanilla pudding. However, it has a yellowish color so your “white” layer will not be as white as if you use white chocolate or cheesecake.
Can I make my own whipped cream?
Yes, you can use heavy whipping cream to make homemade whipped cream. Just be sure to chill it before you use it.
Can I substitute something else for the Graham Crackers?
Yes, you can substitute the graham crackers with Vanilla Wafers if desired. You could even use Chocolate Wafer Cookies if you have some on hand.
Do I serve this at room temperature?
No, this dessert should be served frozen. Setting it on the counter for about 5 minutes before serving will make it easier to cut and serve, but you do not want to let it thaw entirely or it will become a soggy, mushy mess.
