No Bake Icebox Cake Recipe FAQs

Can I make this ahead of time?

Yes, this dessert can be made ahead of time. Simply cover with plastic wrap and store it in the freezer until you are ready to serve.

Can I use a different type of pudding?

Yes, you can also use vanilla pudding. However, it has a yellowish color so your “white” layer will not be as white as if you use white chocolate or cheesecake.

Can I make my own whipped cream?

Yes, you can use heavy whipping cream to make homemade whipped cream. Just be sure to chill it before you use it.

Can I substitute something else for the Graham Crackers?

Yes, you can substitute the graham crackers with Vanilla Wafers if desired. You could even use Chocolate Wafer Cookies if you have some on hand.

Do I serve this at room temperature?

No, this dessert should be served frozen. Setting it on the counter for about 5 minutes before serving will make it easier to cut and serve, but you do not want to let it thaw entirely or it will become a soggy, mushy mess.
