Easy Valentine’s Day Croissants

These strawberry cheesecake-filled croissants come together in no time with just a few ingredients. Pillsbury crescent dough is stuffed with strawberry jam and cream cheese, then topped with pink icing and sprinkles for the perfect Valentine’s Day breakfast or treat.

When it comes to Valentine’s Day, I love getting the celebration started first thing in the morning.

The last few years a special Valentine’s Day breakfast has become a tradition in our house.

It’s a great way to remind my family that it’s a special day to celebrate how much we love each other.

While these croissants are perfect for kids, they would also be a sweet treat to make for your spouse or even your friends on Valentine’s Day.

These Strawberry Cheesecake Crescent rolls are so so yummy they’ll make you fall right in love! With crescent rolls, Cream cheese, Strawberry jam, and a wonderful glaze on top these will be great for that special day!

Ingredients

Ingredients for Valentine\'s Day Croissants: Crescent rolls, strawberry jam, cram cheese, milk, powdered sugar and vanilla.
  • 1 8oz can of crescent rolls
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup of strawberry jam
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 4-5 drops of pink food coloring
  • Valentines sprinkles

Instructions

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2) Lay out crescents and spread each one evenly with the cream cheese and strawberry jam.

3) Roll up crescents and put in the oven for 12 minutes until golden brown.

4) While the crescent rolls are cooking prepare the glaze.

Mix the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract and food coloring together in a small bowl. (Add more food coloring to your liking)

Once the crescents are done, let them cool a bit before drizzling the glaze on.

 After the glaze, immediately sprinkle the sprinkles on top and enjoy!

Tips and Tricks

  • Add a couple drops of water if the glaze is too thick.
  • Use parchment paper to make clean up super easy. The filling can run out during baking which is pretty sticky.
  •  Add more or less pink food coloring, depending on the coloring you want!
  •  Add real chopped strawberries to the middle!
  • You can add a little lemon juice to the cream cheese for a pop of flavor.
